Originally from Ashburn, Georgia, Mike Jerel moved to Columbus to pursue his formal music education. He earned his undergraduate degree from Columbus State University and later completed a master’s degree at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

After building a strong following in Columbus, Mike auditioned for The Voice and advanced to the competition, where he was coached by Grammy Award-winning artist John Legend. Although the global pandemic interrupted his momentum in 2020, Mike had already captured the attention of the legendary soul and funk band Tower of Power.

Mike currently tours with Tower of Power as a lead vocalist and organist, sharing his remarkable talent with audiences around the world.
